The Life of Kylie

Good news everybody.. Cotti is just fine! The bump on his foot was just a cyst, nothing to worry about. So, why am I pouting?…

My family is going to Hawaii, my home state, for a visit with friends and family without me. They said the only reason I’m not going is because of quarantine – where’s the Aloha in that?!

But Min and her mom are going to stay at my place and hang out with me while they’re gone, and the three of us always have crazy adventures so I’m sure I’ll have quite a time.

My cousin Cotti (by the way, that’s pronounced like Cody, but it’s one of those clever spellings like when your name is Candy but you spell it Khandee).. is always coming over and hanging around me, and trying to play with me, and basically annoying me, and now he’s even trying to be like me.

Last week, Cotti’s mom found a suspicious bump on his foot, and it even looked like the bad bump I had on MY foot. So we all got kind of concerned and Cotti went to see the doctor – he even went to MY doctor!

Dr. Monica, as usual did a great job and cut that sucker off and Cotti was up & around within two days! Lucky for him, his bump wasn’t on one of his little piggies like mine was, it was higher up where his dew claw toe was, so it won’t be as obvious as my surgery.

We’re still waiting for test results so please keep your fingers crossed for Cotti – but he seems perfectly fine to me (he’s just as annoying as ever)!

When I’m just casually lounging around the house, and by casually lounging I mean just stretching out on the floor, not on my couch, or on one of my many beds, or the window seats, I always lay with one of my back legs out behind me.

They call it my kick-stand!

…not laboring!

I actually have my own driver’s license however I also have a very short attention span and I’m very easily distracted so my family says I am not a good driver. But that’s okay because I really prefer to be chauffeured so I’m free to be completely crazy in the car! Which brings me to the issue at hand…

We found this cool website, Dogs In Cars, that features nothing but pictures of.. you guessed it, dogs in cars!  

They encourage you to submit a picture of your dog riding in your car to be added to their collection! Naturally, I will be submitting a picture of myself but we are having trouble deciding (they request that you upload only one).

Here’s me being uncharacteristically well-behaved and very cute in the car…

Or here’s me acting like a maniac, as usual…

I’ve been immortalized yet again! This time by a new friend who worries about me if I don’t post a new entry in my diary every few days. Leslie is a very talented artist in Santa Fe, she creates stained glass designs.

How cool is that?! She created my image based on this Pop Art of me with Pink on the brain..

Pretty good likeness, huh?

Sorry I’ve gotten behind in my blogging, I had a busy weekend (sort of)!

First I had to get a bath, in the sink. I hate baths!

..But I have to admit, I feel great afterwards.

Then we really, really wanted to go on a road trip, it’s been too long. But after considering Las Vegas (10 hours away), Devil’s Tower (8 hours away), Aspen (4 hours away), or even a tour of drive in theaters of the west, we realized that the price of gas just made it impractical (by “we” I don’t mean “me”). So we decided to go camping instead…

(But let’s hope the price of gas goes down soon.)

I’m pretty much a maniac around the house so my family thought it would be interesting to put a puppy pedometer on me and see how far i actually go in a day..

As it turns out I don’t go as far as you might think.
