Goin’ in style

I still love to travel! But now, whether it’s across town or cross-country, I ride in style in my booster seat.
Check me out!

Lately, lots of people have been asking… Where’s Kylie? Why don’t we ever hear from Kylie anymore? I wonder what Kylie is up to? And who can blame them?
Well, to satisfy those inquiring minds, I’m back!! [Not that I really was away, I’ve just been enjoying my life as a private citizen, one of the common folk.]
I must warn you that in the past couple of years I have become a dog of action not words, so I’ll most likely be showing you a look into my life, rather than just sharing my stories & opinions.
For starters, this is me taking a bite out of life! I recommend you do the same!

Yes, yes, I know it’s been a while. What can I say, I am a very busy dog! In fact of late I’ve been to some very interesting places (interesting being a relative term). For example, are you aware that a replica of Stonehenge was constructed in Nebraska using true American ingenuity (or something) by some folks who had way too much time and too many old cars on their hands. Here’s me at carhenge.

I also went to visit the Swetsville Zoo in Colorado Springs where another gentleman, named Mr. Swets seems to be in the same predicament too much time and too many old cars, and motorcycles, and lawnmowers, and bicycles, and hub caps. So he makes all kinds of crazy sculptures with them. Look at me with the giant grasshopper (sorry it’s a little blurry).

But on to bigger and better engineering marvels! I went to hoover dam – almost. Can you believe they don’t allow dogs on the dam itself? Losers! But considering it was 104 degrees, I wasn’t really interested in hanging around.

Then I went to Vegas, baby! I took in the light show on Freemont Street, where I was quite the celebrity in my backpack. People were asking to take pictures of me.

Who needs those white tigers?

2004

January 25th, 2004

2004!? Wow where does the time go? It seems like just last month it was 2003. Oh yeah, It was wasn’t it? Well it’s been even longer since I took a minute to catch up, but you know how busy the holidays can be. Mine were quite peaceful and prosperous. Spent time with some friends and got lots and lots of cookies! I tore into my presents including a gingerbread dog house just for me. If you would like to see my holiday photo gallery, just click here for a glimpse of Kristmas with Kylie – there’s even a little movie of me.

Enjoy and Happy New Year Everybody!

I hate daylight savings time! I know it’s been like a month since the change, but I still feel like dinner is being served an hour late everyday and that makes me crazy!
Let’s see what else has happened in the last month…
Well my family went off to visit Hawaii without me. Okay, so they brought me some really yummy puppy pu-pus and I got spoiled silly by my auntie Joanna, but still they went to my hometown without me with some lame story about quarantine or something. It’s an injustice I tell you!
But it’s time to go to bed now, at least I think it is, it’s been dark for hours already.

A change of seasons

October 22nd, 2003

Well it’s finally getting cooler, the leaves are falling off the trees, and the squirrels are getting fatter… it must finally be time for autumn. I bet inquiring minds want to know what I did all summer!
Well the answer is – almost nothing! After my trip to New Mexico, it was just too darn hot in Colorado this summer, and I don’t like hot weather, so I watched the world from my air conditioned window.
I did have a visitor. Joanna, my godmother, came and stayed for a week and we had a GREAT time! I showed her around all my favorite places.
Oh yeah, I also tried something new – acupuncture! Check me out lookin’ like a pin cushion

Yes, I’m very zen, totally feng shui and completely in touch with my chi.
I went once a week for a month and it made me feel great! My Dr. Monica is the best!
And now it’s finally fall, so my walks are getting longer and Martin Brodeur is back on the ice – Go Devils!
And even better, Joanna is coming to visit again! It will be nothing but petting and shopping and treats! She really understands me and knows how I deserve to be treated.

on the road again..

ralf (18k image) I’ve been on another one of my out of this world escapades and made some far out new friends! I was all over the great state of New Mexico -and a little corner of Texas and finally met my favorite fans. Joanna & Vincent (and even their crazy cat Quigley) were totally cool! Albuquerque, Las Cruces, & Roswell & El Paso, on the other hand were way too HOT!
But I love a road trip and this was a great one.
Check out my vacation photos in this on-line album.
