This all started in 1996 with Kylie. (kyliedog.com) Ours was one of the first web rings and certainly one of the first Jack Russell web rings online. As we grew, the Internet changed with the webring service was sold a number of times. But with the independent nature of Jack Russells, we forged on ahead with our own script written by one of our own members. We are very proud of our little webring and that we were able to share some really great sites with a great community of folks, like our dear member Bill Tomei who we lost on April 13, 2010 and subsequently his site, Jack Russells Online.

On January 29, 2009, we lost our honorary "Ring Master", Kylie. As the ring was started with Kylie (kyliedog.com) and FlapJack (jackrussellsonline.com), the heart of the ring has gone as well, it seems the life of our webring concept has followed suit. So with a heavy heart, we have decided that the time has come to retire the Jack Russell Ring.
